How to discipline without threatening and emotionally distancing children
Here we hear about two fundamentally two very, very different approaches to disciplining children. One is effective, the other is not! The former is based on making agreements and the child taking on greater responsibility with consequences, praise and support, while still being in charge as the parent. The latter is based on threatening and heavily punishing the child in an overly authoritarian manner.
